Joshua Lindsey, MD

  • Director of the Orthopedic Institute
  • Education: The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, WI
  • Fellowship: Adult Reconstructive Surgery at Harvard Medical School’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, Shoulder, and Sports Medicine at The University of Rochester in Rochester, New York
  • Residencies: Orthopedic Surgery at The University of Washington in Seattle, Washington
  • Special Interests: Orthopedic surgery, Hip and knee replacement, Shoulders, Arthroscopic procedures, Orthopedics, Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine
  • Personal Passions: In his free time Dr. Lindsey enjoys spending time with his wife Katie, who is a pharmacist at Southwest Health, and their three young children.

  • Education: Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania.
    Master of Science in Athletic Training from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana.  Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Wisconsin in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
  • Special Interests: Orthopedics, Orthopedic Surgery, Sports Medicine, Fracture care, Injections, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, Casting, Splinting, Bracing, and Rehabilitation
  • Experience: Since 2005 he has specialized in orthopedics as a P.A.
  • Personal Passions: In his free time Phil and his wife Christina, who is a Dermatology PA-C in The Specialist Clinics at Southwest Health, are an active couple who participate in outdoor activities, including camping, skiing, hiking, horseback riding, and fishing. They also have a son and enjoy spending time with family.

  • Special Interests: Orthopedics, Orthopedic Surgery, Sports Medicine, Joint Pain Management, and Nutrition
  • Experience: Dietetic Internship at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, WI.
  • Personal Passions: Andy spends his free time enjoying moments with family and friends. He is an avid sports fan, rooting for the Wisconsin Badgers, Kansas Jayhawks, and Chicago Cubs. He also enjoys endurance athletics and participates in triathlons and marathons, including having completed the famous Ironman 70.3 distance triathlon.

Sara Carey, RN

  • Registered Nurse
    Sara has been a part of Southwest Health since 2012. She began her career with us at Epione Pavilion followed by the Med/Surg department. Sara attended Southwest Technical College where she obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing. Sara is currently pursuing her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Viterbo University. She joined the team at the Orthopedic Institute in June 2016. In her free time, Sara enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her son. Sara is very excited to be a part of such a great team at the Orthopedic Institute.

Rayme Harbaugh, LPN

  • Licensed Practical Nurse
    Rayme has worked for southwest Health for a total of six years. She started at Epione Pavilion and also worked at Southwest Behavior Services before joining the Orthopedic Institute in July 2016. Rayme has been a Licensed Practical Nurse since 2002 and has experience in many different areas such as long-term care, psychiatrics, and family practice. She loves meeting new people every day at work and helping them in any way possible. Rayme enjoys being part of the recovery process that takes place at the Orthopedic Institute, and helping patients get back to living their best lives. In her free time, Rayme enjoys spending time with her family and friends, outdoor activities and reading a good book.

Sheila McKillip

  • Patient Access Technical Lead
  • Sheila is one of the first people you will meet at the Orthopedic Institute. She is a Patient Access Technical Lead and has been working at Southwest Health for 14 years. Sheila’s favorite part about her job is seeing patients progress through the healing process. In her spare time, Sheila enjoys spending time with her husband and children, camping, and attending various school sports and band activities.

Kathy Woolford

  • Patient Access Representative
  • Kathy is one of the first people you will meet at the Orthopedic Institute. She is a patient access representative who has been working at the hospital since 2002. Prior to joining Southwest Health, Kathy worked as a Special Education Teacher for 22 years. Kathy has a Master’s Degree in Education and attributes her educational and teaching background to helping make her great with people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. “I love helping patients of all ages; I’ve always been a people person and try my best to make sure all of their needs are met.” Kathy is also a member of Southwest Health’s Safety & Hazmat Teams and the Coordinator for the Platteville Clinic Reach Out and Read Program. In her spare time, Kathy enjoys spending time with her husband Alan, two daughters, and three grandchildren. Kathy is also a member of Platteville’s Volunteer Fire Department and is a Wisconsin Certified Firefighter I and State Certified Fire Inspector.

Katie Parkins

  • Rehab Clerk
  • Katie has been part of the Southwest Health Team since 2005 and has worked as a CNA, activity aide, and rehab assistant. Prior to joining the rehabilitation department of the Orthopedic Institute, she worked in the nursing home at Epione Pavilion where she loved to make the residents there smile. In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, kayaking, 4 wheeling and hanging out by the pool.
